EDGERTON
Edgerton was the heart and soul of Wisconsin's tobacco growing region. At one time there were nearly 52 tobacco warehouses were located in the dowtown area.
Today, Edgerton's tobacco industry is still visible. Some of the town's warehouses have been restored to retail and apartment rentals. The town is also where the boyhood home of Sterling North, author of the children's book, Rascal resides. After you have spent the entire downtown exploring Edgerton's many historic buildings a visit to Lake Koshkonong is just a short drive away.
