The history of this site begins in the early 1900’s, a small grocery and general store were built for Lake Kegonsa vacationers.
In the 1960s a bar was added to the quaint store in the turning it into a popular place for entertainment and dancing. Then a baitshop, boat rental, and lodgings were added, and the space was transformed into Sunnyside Resort.
In the 1970’s, the dining room and kitchen facilities were added, turning Sunnyside Resort into a popular,
year-round supper club and vacation destination.
Current owners Steve and Laura Rowley purchased and renovated the building in 2004. The newly renovated space reopened in February of 2005 as Springers. Springers was named as a tribute to the town of Pleasant Springs, the springs within Lake Kegonsa, and the owner’s love for Springer Spaniels.

Today, Springers of Lake Kegonsa is a year-round, family-friendly lakeside supper club. In addition to the sunny lake views and large patio space for outdoor dining and entertainment, Springers is known for specialties like Wednesday and Friday night Fish Fry, Thursday night’s take on Mexican fare, and Saturday night Prime Rib.
