Historic Auto Attractions
13825 Metric Rd, Roscoe, IL 61073
Historic Auto Attractions was built in 2001 by owner Wayne Lensing of Lefthander Chassis which makes short track racing chassis. Wayne had been racing late models at Rockford Speedway, Lake Geneva WI and ASA specials, since 1975. During
this time he won three season championships at Rockford, two
at Lake Geneva and several ASA specials thru out the Midwest. With 100 plus feature wins to his credit other racers were starting to go to
him to build, repair and set up their race car. Wayne began fabricating racecars chassis out of his Rockford garage more than 20 years ago, he has since moved to bigger and better facilities to now own and operate if not the largest, late model fabrication and parts warehouse. Also during that time Wayne became an avid collector of automobiles, both with historic value and celebrity popularity. For
the better part of 10 years he built
up a collection exceeding 70 special interest autos. These famous autos are now housed in a magnificent building built specifically for the cars, and run as a museum. Each display is artistically designed with graphic illustrations and historical information.
