In 1938, Milton resident, Don Hillestad, 
opened a hardware store on Main Street in Milton Junction (later to be consolidated with Milton). He ran the businessuntil his retirement in 1983. From 1983 until 1991, the business was owned and operated by Hillestad's daughter, Martha, and her husband Dick Johnson. 

In 1991, current owner/operator, Dave Warren, took over the business and is still operating it today.
