Most area lakes have quite a bit of snow cover. One good thing it has packed down, with cold nights a couple inch crust has formed so you stay up on top, but you also occasionally fall through that icy canopy. Four wheelers like UTVs/ATVs are staying on top of it for the most part. But if you got at truck you're going to sink into the slush. We haven’t gained or lost anything ice wise.

There are also open spots out there where it's only ice. In those glare spots if you don’t have cleats you couldn’t stand. Some guy might fall three or four times in 25 foot stretch. You have no sense of control in those ports.

You can single out a lake or two where the bite is better, but there are equally two or three that didn’t change or got worse. Most lakes are reporting no major changes from last week, one exception being Lake Koshkonong.

Lake Koshkonong – Anglers are seeing an uptick in bite, been the most consistent bite out there. Uptick in rate in catch. Seen a lot of more pike. No updates beyond that right now.

This season has been unfortunately a broken record, most guys saying one of worst fishing catching seasons in a long time. There’s minimal guys able to take advantage of what's out there now.
