Enjoy Muralists and Chalk Artist Confab in Downtown Janesville This Weekend, It's Art Infusion 2022

Miami, Madison, Mexico City, Detroit, and South Bend, Indiana, muralists from across the U.S. and internationally have taken over Janesville's historic downtown with Juxtapoz magazine-like playful imagery and vibrant colors. The wall artists week long effort culminates this weekend with a city wide reveal of five spectacular works which will no doubt add to the future energy harnessed by Janesville's downtown evolving rebirth.

This weekend for Art Infusion is particularly alluring across the sidewalks of Firehouse Park chalk artists will compete for cash prizes guided by the theme of “Find your adventure in Janesville, Wisconsin’s Great Outside.”

And for budding artists or the curious bystander there will be numerous opportunities to learn the techniques of chalk artistry and leave your own mark on Art Infusion 2022.

Art Infusion takes place this weekend in downtown Janesville from Friday, September 9 to Sunday September, 11th.  Fret not if you miss the event, the art will be around for a while, the chalk art not as likely given the rainy forecast for this weekend.
