
Lumber Into the Midwest Midwest Log Rolling championships
See the best log rolling, lumber jacking athletes from around the U.S. compete along the shores of beautiful Lake Wingra in downtown Madison this Saturday.
The competition benefits the Huntington's Disease Society of America. Amateur and youth log rollers will compete from 10am - 1pm, and the professional athletes will roll from 1:30pm - 5pm. Money raised by the Midwest Log Rolling Championships will go directly to help research possible treatments and cures, local patient and family care, and community education in Wisconsin. On a larger scale, HDSA’s coordinated national and international research will also benefit people with diseases related to Huntington’s – diseases such as ALS, Alzheimer’s, Parkinson’s and many dystrophies.

The Midwest Log Rolling Championships take place at Wingra Park just of Monroe Street at the terminus of Knickerbocker Place in downtown Madison.
