In Monroe, Cheese Is More Than A Way of Life Its' A Great Summer Party At Cheese Days
The heart of Green County bleeds orange-golden. Generations of Swiss immigrants have made the region one of the most award winning and productive parts of Wisconsin's dairy industry. Every September around this time, cheesemakers, locals, cheese eaters from across the Badger State come together to sample and celebrate Wisconsin's greatest export at Monroe Cheese Days.

This year features the Wegmueller Farm and Ms. J and Co. Sheep Farm. Its' polka-ing the day away to shatter the record for World’s Biggest Polka Dance. It's finding a choice spot with a blanket or folding chair for the Swiss Colony Cheese Days Parade.
