( 5) Now head one block west on West Main Street to our next stop the large red brick residence located at 104 West Main Street. Named John Evans Hall, after the home’s owner a physician and town’s founder  this home built in

1884 is High Victorian Gothic style. One hint is the use of arched windows and even an arched front door, a detail borrowed from the Gothic church architecture.
