Enjoy The Beauty and Majesty of The Great Outdoors This Weekend at Lake Geneva's Winterfest

If visiting Lake Geneva on a daytrip this weekend is not enough Winterfest has returned celebrating what's best about Southern Wisconsin's lakes in the Winter. The winter spectacle, which stretches from Riviera Plaza to Flat Iron Park along the beautiful shore of Geneva Lake, commenced on the 1st with the U.S. National Snow Sculpting Championship. The weekend promises to be filled with family oriented activities such as a downtown ice sculpture tour, igloos and bonfires on the beach, live entertainment, a snow flake hunt put on by downtown stores, Freaky Tiki a beach themed drinking excursion hosted at the Maxwell Mansion (Apothecary) and many more events around the downtown.  Winterfest now in its' 28th year runs this Friday the 3rd and closes Sunday.

If you are unable to attend the snow sculpting championship this weekend don't fret. The sculptures will hang around Riviera Plaza until the sun melts them.
