Cultivating Our Future Farmers, the 3rd Annual Marshall Farm Toy and Craft Show
Held annually the 2nd weekend in December the Marshall Farm Toy Show and Crafts is the culmination of efforts by FFA Alumni and Supporters. All the profits from table sales, admission, food sales, raffle prizes and silent auction items go back to the FFA Alumni which supports the Marshall High school and Middle school FFA for events.
Visitors to the show will find farm toy product lines from the most recognizable brand ERTL to die cast scaled tractors from International,John Deere,Oliver, Steiger, Allis Chalmers,Massey Harris, New Holland, Agco, and Oliver white. Other items on sale include puzzles, trucks, trains, other farming equipment, and farm animals. While some of the vendors at the show sell online others are strictly in person, and according to contact person, Joe Grady, sometimes this makes their price points lower than internet based vendors.

One such vendor at this year's show is Joe Grady's father in law in Greg Blank (pictured above with the family at a show.) Greg started collecting and selling in 1980s. Over the years Blank has sold at National Farm toy show in dyersville Iowa, local shows, and the red round up which travels to a different state each year. "He has gotten his children and they are now collecting and selling at shows also. Greg loves going to shows to get kids involved because he knows they will grow up being appreciative of farming," says Grady.
