171 Years Celebrating Our Farmer's the Columbia County Fair Returns to the Columbia County Fair Grounds This Weekend
Portage, WI - Now entering it's 174th year, the county fair is the second oldest in Southern Wisconsin. Before Farm to Table the county fair was the surest way to link your food to local farmers. Head to the grand stand for biggest events of the day.
Friday is the County Tractor Pull hosted by the South Central Wisconsin Tractor and Truck Pull.
Find Animal shows everyday, competitions for hogs, horses, poultry and rabbits helmed by Future Farmers of America (FFA) and the 4-H among other organizations inspiring our children to join Wisconsin's agricultural legacy There are agricultural exhibits from dairy to goats, sheep, sheep sheering demonstrations, swine and many more. Beef, poultry, hog, rabbit and cavi competitions also are featured. There is also a Horses of Speed demonstration on Saturday and demolition derby.
The Columbia County Fair opens the morning with a FFA hosted breakfast and then rolls to halt Sunday with The Wheels Of Wonder being held at 12:00 pm on Sunday July 27 at the track by the Grandstand. If that's not enough excitement for you there is a meat raffle from 1:00 - 3:00 PM at the Beer and Wine Garden
