Get Ready For Bicycles Going Fast, The Fitchburg Festival of Speed Kicks Into Gear This Saturday

This year, the Wisconsin Cycling Association Wisconsin (WCAW) chose Fitchburg to host its' 2022 State Championships. Get close and comfortable with professional cyclists whizzing by at speeds of 30 mph as you stake out a seat by Agora Pavilion. Don't worry about missing a single second of action the criterium races take place on a compact, closed loop. Each entrant will be competing for a $5000 payday.

And the beyond racing, kids can enjoy the antics and illusions of Magician James while adults can listen to live performances from Michael Alexander and Big Whiskey to Frank and the Names and Super Tuesday closes out the evening with fireworks show at 9:15 PM.

If you're hungry for some snacks or libations grab a beer from Hop Haus Brewing Company, the criterium's sponsor or nosh on some flavored ice from Kona Ice,  Wonder Cookie, or what's they're serving up at Lena Cafe.
