Enjoy A Full Day of Beer and Cheese at the Beer & Cheese Fest 2023

Begin the new year with a culinary bang. 2023 marks the 13th year of Beer and Cheese Fest. The event celebrates small scale breweries from the Badger State and beyond. Sample from 96 breweries and three Wisconsin based cheesemakers. .

And what comes to mind when you think of a day long event devoted to beer sampling? Why, Hammer-Schlagen® the popular nail driving competition, of course. And if cheese and beer are putting you in the mood to eat tacos you are in luck. David Rodriguez owner of  Local Taco is serving up free classes with samples. Rodriguez's demonstrations are a collaboration with spirits makers Imperial Tacos and Don Julio Tequila.

Brand new this year, the Metcalfe's owners of Sentry grocery stores are offering up samples through their Metcalf Market display which features local food artisans such as Slide Chips, Potters Crackers, 100 Miles Sauce Co., Milwaukee Pretzel Co., Stone Ridge Meat Sticks, among many too numerous to name.!

There is also master class on Barbeque from Aubrey Freeman of Freeman Brothers BBQ

which will be paired with  Hop Haus Beer, George Dickel Bourbon,.

If all the sips of beer and bites of cheese are not enough, there are live culinary demonstrations occurring on the hour as well as the always popular "Dueling Pianos." And if you had enough to drink or not a single drop you might want to venture over to the live, silent disco which returns to the dance floor for 2023.
