The location of Wisconsin's Southern Lakes area means that each and every season here comes with its own distinct benefits. For many visitors, that offers the opportunity to make several visits a year, and enjoy distinctly different experiences. 

Regardless of the season you visit in, make sure you prepare yourself accordingly. If you’re coming in the summer, make sure you pack sunscreen and summer clothing.  And if you’re here in the early spring or late fall, bring plenty of warm clothes as the evenings can be chilly. 

Daily summertemperatures can range from 40°F to 95°F. In the winter, they range from the single digits to 40°F. 

Prepare yourself for rain if you are coming in the summertime, it could rain a few times a week. Mostly the climate is pleasant and ideal for outdoor activities.
